Europe’s first urban 3S ropeway was built in Toulouse. The southern French city has opted for high-performance, sustainable mobility by building France’s longest urban ropeway, which is also the longest 3S-gondola lift in Europe.
Toulouse, with its 500,000 inhabitants has chosen a ropeway as an environmentally friendly, efficient and sustainable means of public transport. The installation, three kilometers long, is called Téléo and was built as a space-saving tricable (3S) gondola
lift.
